Egon woke up at 4:30 this morning. Daniel told him in no uncertain terms that it was too early to start celebrating his birthday.
So he waited until 6:30 before running yelling into our bedroom and leaping upon us with glee.
It is now 10:30 and I think he might have fallen asleep on the sofa.

I wonder what these increased gas prices will do to family solidarity? Vanishingly few of our cohort live near their parents and siblings. And with our crop of grandchildren, that distance cannot be ignored.
