We’ve always commented on the way that the Girls look like raptors – some more than others (Penny). But after one gets to know them, the ridiculousness and fluffitude sort of overwhelms any sense of ferocity.

I understand the reluctance of Germany’s political parties and officials to adopt any symbolism or imagery that is flashy or self-important. However, this has got to be the least inspirational political party ever: The Middle.
