Karen,
I will always say N-EE-ther, regardless of how many diletantes there are now who proudly say N-II-ther. I may be a liberal (OK, far left-liberal, but when it comes yer basic talkin’, I’m jest a fella from the dirt streets of Alameda, ID. When eating out (as when on the road) I always order the same thing for breakfast, too, without fail—every time. There is not a liberal bone in my body when it comes to cuisine.
Anyway…..Hi Karen! Joni gave me your blog address. Cool, because maybe now I can find out what the hell a “blog” is, and why a better term could not have been found by the geeks who made up the term. How are the Mortensen’s (sorry if I misspelled) these days? The Hansens in Nevada are old(er). This Hansen has been an Obama supporter since the day he announced. The other one was for Hillary for months, but now seems to be wavering, since it’s clear HC is not going to win.
Hey, here’s a question that maybe these b-logs tend to like (I suppose they were created after all as logs for various purposes, some occasionally worthwhile): why is it that the media are looking at a really interesting political race, the first one we have had in decades between good candidates (as opposed to the usual “lesser of two evils”), and insisting on calling it a civil war which will ruin the party, instead of recognizing it as……………………………democracy?
Peace,
Mike [the old hippie]
[Different generation, but a
kindred spirit nonetheless]
